Arch's 2010 074.jpgTry a used Glock 23 from Police trade ins. It will fire 4 calibers with just changing parts on the same frame. If you need a 9mm use Glock 19/17 mags and a KKM 9mm barrel. I use it in .357 Sig with a KKM barrel and Glock 33/23 mags. The .22 LR slide kit saves a lot of money also.

Another vote for Glock 19 here. Just picked one up, $480 OTD with 150rds and I love it. Put 200 rounds through it today, only complaint is I'm a hell of a lot better behind a machine gun or a rifle, but handguns are a new field for me and I'm enjoying it thus far. It's also nice having something in my house now. Carrying isn't an option for me in good ole New Jersey but hopefully soon enough I'll live somewhere where people are allowed to defend themselves.

I'm assuming everyone here knows about the military discounts but just in case.. http://www.teamglock.com/dealer-locator. Search under Law Enforcement dealers and bring your Mil ID. I had one local joker tell me $550 for a G19 PLUS the NJ-associated fees... Yeah, no thanks.

You would have to actually SHOW UP at a Sizzler for that threat to be valid, fucker.

Glock 26 in a Blackhawk Serpa holster is what I carry everyday, with a Taurus .38 featherlight in an ankle holster when I am in the hood at 0300 hrs with my full time job. The 10+1 is adequate for a conceled carry and I use Hornady Critical Defense +p+, never call my 9mm a weapon for girls...

The Glock can be bought for $398 from a Blue Line dealer if you are LEO, FF, EMS, Security, or Military. All you need is an ID.
