    Exclamation Organization restructure

    All:

In order to better align the staff of The Paratrooper Association with our mission, the Executive Management embarked on an evaluation of our current staffing levels and identified several needs within the organization. From our findings a recommendation was made to the Executive Director and the following changes were approved and are effective immediately:

Mike Clark is transitioning from Associate Vice President of Operations to a role as an Association counsel, reporting to the Senior Vice President Michael Allison. In this role he will serve the Executive Management in an advisory capacity.

John Waller has been promoted to Director of Operations, reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jim Sullivan. He is overall responsible for the Events department, Compliance department, and Social Media department. He is also responsible for the day to day administration of the forums and as such is now an Administrator of the forums.

Curt Collins has been named Social Media Manager, reporting to John Waller. He has oversight of the day to day operations of the Association social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).

Todd Monroe is transitioning from his role as Director of Social Media to a position as Association counsel, reporting to the Senior Vice President Michael Allison. In this role he will serve the Executive Management in an advisory capacity.

Fred Hunt has been named Events Manager, reporting to John Waller. He is responsible for the planning and execution of Association events. In conjunction with this, the annual End of Summer Sizzler has officially become an Association event. Additionally, he will be managing the Association online store (in the process of being stood up).

Rob Arnold has transitioned to Assistant Vice President of IT Services reporting to Jim Sullivan. In this role he is the primary technical support for the forums and the Association store (in the process of being stood up). He will no longer be responsible for the day to day administration of the forums.

Michael Luna and Matt Green will remain as Moderators of the forums, but will now report to John Waller as Compliance Analysts.

Pat Friel will remain as a Compliance Analyst reporting to John Waller concentrating on RVN Veteran Compliance.

Soon I will post an Organizational chart for a visual representation of the new organizational structure. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

    Yours in Silk,

    The Head MoFo

Congratulations to all promoted motherf... e-eh Honorable Staff Members!
Great job so far, just don't turn APO into the "Corporate World. org" (or even worse, Congress).
Now, can I have a sticker or something?

Denied. We let that happen, and we'll never get a days work out of either of them again.

Thanks for the congrats from the members and congrats to the members and staff with new roles. As the Operations Director, I have a simple two-fold mandate:

    1. Make sure APO and The Paratrooper Association are heading the direction desired by the Board.

    2. Make sure the site staff and Association members are not only "rowing in the same direction", but that we are "rowing together".

We've got a good group of people here in both the membership and staff. The Board definitely wants to build upon that and do some really good work for the veteran community. You all know that we've been at war for over a decade, and there's going to be an entire generation of veterans who can benefit from a place like this, and can benefit from what the Association can do for them.

I'm certainly grateful for the opportunity to participate in both.

I would like to take a moment to thank, both...

    1. The Executive Management team for giving me this opportunity.
    2. The Membership for their support.

I'm excited to be a part of the ongoing process to help both APO and TPA grow.
It's an honor and a pleasure, and I look forward to this challenge.
