    Default Are We Still ....

involved in Afghanistan and Iraq? It seems the news is 24/7 Libya....

What a slap in the face of our fine brave troops who are on the front lines and supporting the actions in Iraq and Astan. The media and politicians are such asses and opportunists.

Guys and gals who are still fighting...stay safe. You all are not forgotten and you are still thought of and appreciated; even if the ass phats in the media and the supposed elected officials of the US don't acknowledge your fine work.

I wish our troops and airman who are being used as a photo op for the current occupant of The White House in this "vital mission" in Libya god speed.

One must remember The Messiah, did NOT like the Iraq War and only entertains Afghanistan because he doesn't want a "loss" on his record. Libya, however, is a good "kinetic military action".

Ratings-driven media whores with "professional" ADD and lack of moral values.
But then, there are "Joe and Jane Doe" (without any "doe"), who feed those ratings...

...and speaking of debates on arming Libyan rebels.
    Charlie's AK-s from 80's are now in Taliban's hands.
Will we have to pry new guns out of someone else's cold hands 15-20 years later?

Re-election time is coming soon boys and girls, so you should have seen this one coming. Gotta have some positive press you know. The way that the politicians use our brothers and sisters (and at one time or another us) to further their political agendas is reprehensable at best, and should be criminal. They'll go on a "support visit" to bolster the morale of the troops this week, only to come back and vote down a bill that would provide better veterans benifits or vote in a bill that cuts military spending or a takes away from the tiny amount that our boys and girls get as it is.

I pray each day that those serving around the world would be protected not only from the enemies our of land abroad, but those enemies that live right here amoung us.

Our cic is a sorry example of what a leader should be. And now we are involved in another front. It is going to escalate for sure. What next Mr. Pres. Syria? Behrain? etc.,etc.

I feel for our Military- the ones that are sent to finish up the crap that you people start. What was that old saying Old men start wars- Young men and women fight them.
" Get out of that door you Goddamn piece of shit" and than I felt the kick of the boot on my skinny ass and the small of my back- it broke my grasp of the tower door and out I went screaming like a little girl

$20 on Syria next: they're a thorn in the Middle Eastern ass, as "we" see them.
Bahrain is our bent-over "ally"; therefore, we'll let them murder their opposition at will, and instruct our media on “what and where” to cover.

Add-on: and $20 more on our current "War President" not getting re-elected, regardless how many more wars he's going to start.

Things are going too "well" in Afghanistan from what I hear, that doesn't produce good ratings, it's almost too coincidental that we "need" to focus on Libya all of a sudden

Nothing changes, I remember back in '05 the press celebrating the number of us getting killed in Iraq every day with the daily death counts and ignoring all the guys in Afghanistan completely.

Yep, we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan. My son leaves Afghanistan in a few weeks, my grandson leaves for Iraq in about six weeks.

Undoubtedly, the exercise in Libya is about oil for Europe. For what other reason would the French actually attack someone?

The biggest enemy to American isn't radical Islamists or terrorists. The biggest enemy to our country is liberalism and liberals.

    Breaking news from "quiet" Afghanistan.

KABUL, Afghanistan — The death toll in an attack on the U.N. compound in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif could be as high as 20 after a protest turned violent in response to a reported Quran-burning in the United States, officials tell Reuters.
At least two of those killed were beheaded, Reuters said.
