uuhhh, glad I ain't in the medical field. I'd be in jail on criminal charges for knocking her jaw funny. You were stunned. Lucky you. I'm kinda quick on stupid and stupid would have been on the floor.

Edit to add: I don't whack gals for obvious reasons. A man can hurt the tiny thing. But something like that would be an automatic reaction. She'd be hurting for sure.

Another Edit: Talking about stupid. I'm the guy you really don't wanna mess with. I'll hit ya. And I mean what I say when I say it. A buddy of mine was riding with me one night and a car came up to an intersection on our right. He reached for my steering wheel. I said what the hell do you think you're doing? He said, well, that car looked like it wasn't going to stop. I said, dude, if you ever touch my steering wheel again I'll knock the shit out of you. I'm driving this car and can wreck it all by myself, thank you.

A couple of weeks ago I was taking him home and he reached over and grabbed my steering wheel. I immediately slapped his hand away and backhanded him with a fist in the chest 3 or 4 times and told him you don't ever touch my steering wheel again. He said well that black truck..I said fuck that black truck. I told you once what would happen if you reached for my steering wheel again. This time I'm telling you if you ever touch this thing while I'm driving I'll bust you in the face, kick you out of the car and you'll walk home. I don't care if we're in Comfort, San Antonio or California. I then said you are either stupid or not listening. If you ever reach for my steering wheel again I'll just have to think you're suicidal. Can you hear me now? He says yeah, sorry. Haven't seen him for two weeks. Oh well. There's stupid people everywhere.

I sure hope you'll be alright. What a suck thing to do. I'm sure you're aware that if ANYTHING shows up in the testing she's liable. Good luck. Keep us posted for sure. And keep your foot on her neck. She's too stupid to be around people.

Update:
1st hurdle successfully completed: 1st labs on the pt. are negative! Only 6 months more to go! Got mine drawn yesterday-results pending.
I hear you that say she should have ended on a slab. Believe me when I say that if there hadn't been a patient open on the table, I probably would have been posting here for a Lawyer and legal advice. It happened to me in the distant past, and I was lucky not to be court martialed for that one. My restraint this time surprised even me!
And no, no apology, no explanation, no nothing.
Again, thanks to all of you for your support; the HH6 and I really appreciate it, and it's helping me to keep an even keel.

I agree with the others...I would have probably dropped her, contacting the
Medical Review Board (?), and seeking legal advice.

Whether or not she meant harm...she is definitely stuck on stupid!

I maybe crazy, but I'm going to let Management and Administration do their jobs, and if they don't, then go to Defcon 1 and launch. Plus, now ORTs in Colorado have to be registered, so am going to contact the State registry.

Will do, or have done all the above with the exception on Joint Commision, so far.
Douche got a week of suspension, which must have hurt, her just buying a car and some electronics.
Still haven't reached DEFFCON 1 yet, but still escalating!

Hope everything stays good for you. That's some bullshit. She needs more than a 1 week suspension. Fuckin around with peoples lives like that is no joke. That is completely unprofessional in the medical community. She needs to be fired and stripped of any medical licenses or certs she has. That's unacceptable.
