I was not trying to defend Jerry Conners, what I was looking for was info. about my brother. I was 12 when he went to Vietnam and 13 when he was killed and I looked up to him. I am 59 now and my mother is 84 and time does not heal wounds. By searching out sites on the internet it helps keep his memories alive.
On the wall is his name 12E line 88, when I am there for "Rolling Thunder" I look at all those names and think of all the parents and relatives torn apart. After 45 years we still keep in touch with the soldier who escorted Randy home.
One last thing, everything Jerry Conners stated may be in his head but if you scroll down his site the first photo of 3 guys leaning on a gun ship you will see my brother, he is on the left. Thank you for your replies
