I am by no means the expert on PTSD, but I do have a pretty strong case of it myself. You could almost see the stress of being in that crowd on his face. He did a great job covering it up.

I can't help but be reminded a bit of the movie "Flags of Our Fathers". He's "on display" like that. Makes you feel for the guy.

He is one hell of an awesome guy, one I only wish through all my flaws, I was more like. He exemplifies all that we strive to be, and I am proud that he is getting recognition for what he did.

I wish all the best for hiim in the coming years. I hope that when this boils over (and it will) that he can find peace of mind about the whole thing and get on with his life on his own terms.

What an extraordinary man....I hope that he not only finds peace with the events of that day but is allowed to quietly go back to what passes for normal
for a MOH receiptiant. His wife, family,and friends will be his bulwark . God bless him. He reminds us what is really important ...not the stupid stuff we all get caught up more often than not.
