APO now available on Iphone, Ipad, and other Smartphones

You can now cruise APO much easier on your Iphone, Ipad, etc with your choice of apps. Currently it is available with either the Tapatalk app or the Forum Runner app. Let us know what you think.

Hey Cal, You may want to follow up with these folks because I can't find APO anywhere in their network. I searched for army, paratrooper, APO and armyparatrooper and no luck. I'm not sure they have added our forum. Tried it on 2 iPhones and my iPad.

Sweet! Working now. After just a few minutes use I can offer a couple of comments or suggestions:

1. Would be nice to have an iPad specific version. I am running the iPhone version on iPad and works fine but I could view much more info if the resolutions matched the iPad display size (everything looks huge). I seldom use my iPhone since the iPad came out because its so much faster and easier to work with. There is a competitive app called "Forum Runner" that has both a Free version and an iPad versions - I dont know if you were looking at that as well.

2. Has some decent features that are easier to access than a traditional web browser version of the forum but ultimately the draw for me is speed of access and size of buttons when I'm using it on an iPhone. Using the web version on a phone is frustrating due to button size and bandwidth needed to download full pages. Both those issues handled so I like it.

3. Most annoying feature they need to address is cached credentials. I dont want to have to type in my username and pw everytime I leave and come back to the app. This isnt my bank of corporate network access so I'm willing to tolerate the security risk of locally cached information to make quick access possible.
