Gave myself a Christmas present. Bombay Saphire Gin. I hate gin but always wanted to try this. I can actually sip this stuff and kinda like it. Still nasty but in a good way? What did I say? hahhaa. It's different.

Jack Daniels Single Barrel. Over 2 ice-cubes, with ice water on the side.

Can't decide if I like this better than Gentleman Jack, or not. Strangely, they seem about the same price (or very close to the same.)

I had Maker's 46 with a little bit of ice last night. Sipped on 2 drinks over about 2 hours. Very nice.

For those that like Jack here's a little secret. I quit buying Jack in the late 70's. Went to the liquor store to get a bottle of Jack and the lady says she's out. I said how the hell can you run out of Jack? She said she wasn't sure and handed me a bottle of Ezra Brooks. She said try this honey. If you don't like it I'll buy it back. Been sipping Ezra ever since. Half the price of Jack, much smoother and no heartburn that Jack always left.
