Most American commercial lagers are 10-15 IBUs.
Really bitter beers are 45-60 IBUs.

I picked up two Stone brews today from a sort of specialty grocery store with the best selection of beers in the area (Tacoma Boys for the locals) and found Stone's Ruination IPA and Stone's Vertical Epic 10.10.10. The Epic was unique but I'd take the Ruination over most.
