He says 3rd SFG sometime in the 2000's early in the, ODA 324. Now I know this guy personally and he is a good friend of mine. He knows a lot of stuff, but just wondering. If you can help me in anyway, send me a PM and I'll pass more specifics.

Checking out friends is tough - family is even tougher. I begrudgingly verified my father's claims of heroism. He earned his Bronze Star with V device in Vietnam. I've read the citation and found the announcement in a 1969 issue of Tropical Lightening published by the 25th Infantry. But there have been so many fakes in the world, I didn't want to get suckered in like other family members who've showed up here and other places making inqueries then learning that everything they were told was bullshit. Close friends (depending on how you define the term) are quite often just like family. Learning that they've been dishonest with you is difficult to accept.
I hope he's legit.

When does he claim to have graduated from the Q-course.
FISHDO,
George Soros sucks
Send me his name and I will check..My best bud at work is an old 3rd group guy from that time frame. I will see what i can find out.
I served on ODA 324, and 325 with the 3rd/11th Group back in 88-90. Now I didn't know that the AD Groups co-opted our old ODA numbers.........
Real deal dudes don't get offended. Especially if they are buddies.
A long time ago I commanded A-14 out of B Co. 3d SFG. I suppose today, with the new numbering system it would be A-3214. All A Teams ending with the number 4 were HALO teams. Ask him who the Commander of the HALO School was when he went through. I happen to know who it was in that time frame. Ask him what his MOS was and where the wind tower was. Ask him where he made his training/qualifying jumps. Your boy was in a team in the old A. Co, 3d SFG under ODB-1. A Co. became 1st. BN, B Co, became 2d BN etc. The B detachments became companies. The C-Detachments became Battalions. The old A Company was C-1 B Company was C-2 etc.

Just some things I would ask him he seemed almost too hesitant or act like he didn't know what I was talking about. I mean some of this stuff was simple ODA/Group/SOF stuff that everyone thats been around it should know and he was a little slow or would kinda shy away. I don't know really, but several people have asked if he was serious about it so I figured I'd be the one to step up and find out.
