    Default Headed to Georgia

I will hit Atlanta on Oct 1 and travel to Macon to hang out with my brother and his wife for the weekend. On Monday Oct 4th I will go back to the Atlanta VA and get set up so I can be treated at the Cardiac center. All my relatives except my kids and grandchildren are in Georgia or up here and the Cardiac clinic is suppose to be the best the VA has to offer. I bought a one way ticket because I do not know what is going to happen or how long I will be in the hospital. I had a positive Nuclear stress test last week and these jack assess we have in the Anchorage are screwing around and tell me that it will be at least two weeks before I even hear from them for an appointment to Seattle. The total blockage will not be known until the heart cath is complete but I am banking on a stint. Prepare for the worst and pray for the best. Anyone in the Atlanta or Macon that would like to hook up send me a PM and I'll give you my cell number. Depending on the outcome of the Cath I may or may not be very active. My BP at last check was 98/38 with 66 heart beat. Just a little more and I will be in hibernation.

I said a little prayer for you just now brother.

Go on down there and get fixed up and get your butt back on here ASAP.

I will not last long without your posts to brighten my day even though I am not supposed to look at that sort of thing at work.

Brother, Prayers are out for you. Also.... I live just north of Macon in Anderson SC. We'll figure something out. Want to get faces with these names. Get better.

John, I am really upset by this post. I had no idea you were having cardiac trouble, and am very sorry to learn that is the case. Hang in there, my friend, things will sort themselves out. If you need a stent, don't sweat it. My brother-in-law has three stents in his chest and is going strong. I had an aneurysm of the aorta in my abdomen back in 2002 and had what they called a "stent-graft" run through the leg veins and activated. It worked great, and I am still ticking. Try to stay in touch, as you can; we will all be saying some prayers. John Q

My prayers and best wishes for you, brother! I'd drive up to see you, but I have a 91 year-old aunt with severe dementia to care for and am thus stuck here until she passes to her reward.

Give me a rain-check, and hang around until I get a chance to cash it, OK?

Rain Check delivered. I have family all over Georgia and usually make an annual pilgrimage.
