    Ranger Bell,
It was most likely the C-123, but it could have been the C-27 if you were in Panama (89% sure about this.). Otherwise it was the C-123 as the C-123 production number vastly outweighed C-27 production.

Hey Matt, welcome back. I am sure we jumped together from the Swazi Airforce Aravas in Swaziland and I am sure we both jumped a Kudu together at Snake Valley and you must have jumped one at Oudshorn.

This effect is known as the 'Rule of LGOPs' .This is, in it's purest form, small groups of pissed-off 19 year old American Paratroopers. They are well trained. They are armed to the teeth and lack serious Adult Supervision. They collectively remember the Commander's intent as ' march to the sound of the guns and kill anyone not dressed like you.' "

Usual suspects with Division..BUT got to jump a C-47 in 1990(with NG at time but went down as a civilian for jump)in Guatemala to earn my Guat wings. My respect for the WW2 guys went up 10-fold after jumping that bird!

I don't know what changed, but when I was in they said we couldn't jump the C-5 because it couldn't be slowed down enough....fuck, now I'm jealous.
