Yep. Sounds like a plan. PM the info and what is needed/wanted.

Been on & off the road and also been building new list of deployed brothers. My question is. Do the organizations you mentioned send the stuff to someone you request or are they sent at random according to their SOP?...I only ask that since it seems we have some specific people who need or would like to get pkgs/email. I can tell you that every Post Office will provide you with boxes and customs forms and if your local PO don't have them....they will tell you where to get them..These are actual PO Boxes in different sizes and they will explain the do's and dont's and help you with any custom forms...MAKE sure you get the instructions when you get the forms, then you will be all set. ALSO it is a good habit for all of us to get into and also those who are deployed...Address all your E-MAILS TO "YOURSELF" and put no other addys in the TO or Cc....all the rest go in Bc...therefore know one sees any addys except each individual sees that it is from you...IMPORTANT!! And be careful of attachments try and insert pics or send Word Documents...take care and I will check out my list...."SALSA"

You can have boxes and customs forms delivered to your home via USPS.com. They have a specific flat-rate box that says "APO-FPO" on the front. You can order either the boxes alone, or with the forms in one package. That's the way I go. :)

An old friend of his is out in Indian Country in Afghanistan and they would like ANYTHING so he said whatever any of them get it's always passed around the 40 man platoon this guy is in charge of. I have all the guys information, except for his e mail which I'm waiting on, however, if anyone id interested in sending him anything just send me a PM and I will give you all his mailing info.....By the way I failed to mention....the guy is a Philly dude,....I was born in South Philly so he gotta be a good dude....Thanks for the great job!!! FYI - for the stuff that's too big to fit in the flat rate boxes, I found that Walmart carries boxes in their shipping aisle. I just fit two twin/bunk size quilts for Germany in a box that was roughly the size of two large flat rate boxes. I think it cost 60 cents.

That's great but it is something new since we use to have to go get them at our local PO and if they did not have them, they would send you to another one usually the main PO in your AO. "SALSA"

Just gotta make sure you drill enough holes in the box so they can breathe.

Okie Doke, my previous care package recipient has returned his ass safely to CONUS, so I am in the market for a new deployed troop to ship stuff to. APO guys/gals get first dibs. If no volunteers, then I'll do Soldiers' Angels. It's just that they want you to do a letter a week besides the package a month, and I can't promise that I'm organized enough for a weekly letter.

Blackwings, Danger, there is a list of deployed APO members here somewhere.

Might be hidden in a back room, Mike. If so, could you PM me the info?
