I'm due to ship a few more boxes again and need new addresses. The last two were turned around as "return to sender", so I essentially sent a bunch of candy and porn to "myself"!

    Any takers?

It's from '07, so, hopefully, things has improved.

When packages' funds runs out, send postcards!
Simple "Thanks" is better than nothing.
My family has been involved with SA for 2 or 3 years and I can vouch for them.

We've corresponded with/sent care packages to, IIRC, 6 or 7 military men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They just link you up with the soldier and you do the rest.

Write, email, send supplies, candy, home made fudge and stuff....

We've had one that was unresponsive, but most are very appreciative.

One sent us a flag that flew over his base.

Sorry I have not replied sooner but I had a relapse and I am seeing new Doc's and taking more tests.....I sent out a request for the confirmed list but it's been a mess due to the SO-CALLED removal of Combat units...THAT'S BS...A good friend sent me a letter and said all their doing is changing the unit designator..IE From Heavy Combat to ADVISE & ASSIST . He said all their missions remained the same and their pretty pissed off about it since they do not think the COC should lie to the people of this Nation....what's he going to say when the KIA's keep coming home?

So until I get a roster I really have no names at this time, sorry about that. Keep up the good work. "SALSA"

Let's not let DC turn the reality in the propaganda show. They must discover a stockpile of Soviet instructional booklets on media handling from that Afghan war.
Glossy pics of Soviet Paratrooper reading the fairy tales to Afghani boy; building the bridges and hospitals like it's a primary mission, etc.
And that's while "Black Tulip" ("aero-hearse") was making his rounds delivering coffins to the families of the "new nation builders".
Pre-election BS, which puts troops in the limbo. Their "modified" ROE must be twisted beyond believable...
Speaking of Care Packages: thanks to all, will be hammering requests until confiirmed.
Brasso, hope you're back in the saddle, and leading the way!

Today I sent out a couple of packages for our brothers in harms way...I went to file the customs sheets and realized damn ya got a pile of them. I am going to toot my own horn for a change...in the last eight or so years I have sent over two hundred packages to folks here and from anysoldier/airman.com. My thanks to all who have let me know they rec'd the boxes...I know they were put to good use. It is the least a beat up ole GI can do to help out the guys who are on the lines....stay safe and watch your collective sixes.

    Ok,

I am new here I know and still in the process of being verified...grrrr. However I have a few of my troops that aren't getting any love (mostly because they are 18/19 years old and Facebook seem to be too dumb at that age to write letters) If you know of any church groups or anyone willing to send some stuff to these knuckleheads let me know. I can send the address. HH6 sends as much as she can for everyone in my packages but I really fucking love Twizzlers and don't share! We are deployed with TF Odin in IZ right now. Thanks for the support.
