Earth Day Activities

Earth Day is coming up- April 22.

In honor of the occasion, I customarily cut down a tree for use in my wood stove next winter. I’ve got a primo specimen spied out this year, and for extra credit, it has a squirrel’s nest.

Earth Day is also a good time to burn a little brush.

I am on my way to Little Rock then Hot Springs, Ark today so I will make sure to cut a tree down upon my arrival.

I'm going to fire up the burn pile and torch all those half-empty aerosol cans and swaths of asbestos insulation.
And I've got 5.8 gallons of old motor oil and 3 quarts of used antifreeze that need to be returned to mother earth.

Let's not forget melting down some of that styrofoam packing you get with new appliances and kitchen gadgets that needs burning too.

Excellent post. I, like many of you, I am sure have plenty of old tires to get rid of. I will definitley take advantage of the free pass on Earth Day.

Why you dirty rotten bastards ...don't you think the fuckin volcano in Iceland that the gubments destructo ray started is't contributing to global warming enough...ya gotta go burnin every fuckin thing ,makin Al fuckin cry....Man the fuckin lifeboats The Mayans were two fuckin years off....The glaciers are meltin and we ain't growed flippers yet...Have a wonderfuckingfull Earth day and burn a tree fer me.....
