    Default Wings and badges.....

I'm in Korea at the moment, and for the next two years worth of moments also , and in the process of doing a little bit of hunting for a fellow trooper I thought of something. We have members from all over the world to include some foreign militaries so I was thinking "I'll bet they have some cool looking stuff to wear on their dress uniforms too". Most of us are Airborne qualified so I'll start this with the wings I have and the set that I'm making a run for next. Feel free to post pics of your "cool" looking badges as that is my intent with this thread .

    ROK JM Wings

Thanks to Hendo I will soon have them in sta-bright. I swear I looked all over that country for sta-bright after the jump wings exchange ceremony but couldn't find them anywhere.

As we know, we are only authorized to wear one foreign award on our uniform, unless of course you are my old 1SG who tried to get away with wearing 5 at one time...that was an awesome 'on the spot correction'.

Looks like getting that ROK jump is gonna take some finaggling. Gotta do the whole "permissive jump status" paperwork song and dance. Talked to a guy about it the other day who flat out said no but then got a little bit of a Grinch heart transplant and just told me to do the paperwork and I'd be good. I have a brand new two star in the COC that I supposedly work directly for, hell if I know. But I'm gonna push forward. Hell, I already bought the friggin' wings might as well earn them too . I've seen some Thai Paratroopers around here too, maybe ......

I earned my Royal Thai Wings and jumped out of the Helium balloon too, earning my Thai Balloon wings.

Paratroopers are expected to march farther and faster, to fight harder, to be more self-reliant, and to soldier better than any other soldier.
