I would make an exception with the British, Australians , New Zealanders and in the recent past, the South Africans. We were always willing to pile in, even if it was not really in our interest to do so, to help one another in any fight. I would say that perhaps there really is a special relationship between the Old Colonies.

I agree with this. America is the cool kid at school and even though a lot of other kids hate on him he's still got his buddies. Besides, us Americans are fun and who doesn't like a party?!

I was the DZSO on the two refresher jumps. The first went extremely well (6 kt. winds), only one reportable injury. CSM Grippe got cut across the face but refused treatment. (one tough bastard) The second was a little worse (10-12 knots), 7 reportable injuries. All of the injured had less than 15 jumps, they weren't getting out of their chutes fast enough and getting drug across the DZ. And the DZ is crazy hard with sharp gravel everywhere.

I don't know if we are going to be able to do the partnered jump, but it was a thrill to be part of this.



For you old Renegades out there, 307th BSB was the ABN CDR and they did a bang up job making this a success.
