Sam Adams has a crap-load of different beer types, covering many styles.
They range from big-assed hop-bombs to wheat beers and cranberry lambics.

This much I know. I like their Summer Ale.

My tastes runs along the lines of -
Chimay (Blue and Red), St. Bernardus 12, New Castle Brown Ale, Brother Thelonious, Scaldis.

Once I get my own place I'll try my hand at home brewing!

Why tiptoe through life only to arrive safely at deaths door?

Truth be told, I just grabbed that pic off of the net.

I typically brew and serve my porters closer to those found in british pubs.

Below is a pic of my quasi-cask conditioned porter served through a rigged-up beer engine.

OK,so your porter needs to cover the teeth a bit, but the colour looks robust and I have a thirst from the photo.

I brew porters regularly, about every 6th batch.
My recipe usually includes a bit of oats for increased mouth feel.
Depending my mood and the weather it could also include; molasses, raisins and/or coffee.

There is a rumor that Guinness brewed in Ireland has mashed potato added to give the creamyness, do you credit it?

Guinness’ creaminess comes from it being nitrogenated. This is pretty common in stouts. Many home-brewers get a special nitro setup to mimic the Guinness feel.

Kind of sounds like a St. Bernardus.

My brews aren't near that level, but I sometimes pretend they are and drink them out of a Belgian goblet beer glass.

disclosure- pictured grabbed from the internet- not my beer.
