    Default Sizzler 2010

Yes folks we are already in the beginning of the planning stages.

    Same location...Providence, NC.

    Dates: The week-end of August 27-29 (Fri-Sun).

The only event we are concentrating on this year...the shooting contest.
Which will be an all day event...so everyone gets a change to play with the toys!

I will be contacting each Sizzler Reunion Committee member via pm.

Any questions by the Admin...feel free to ask.

Please understand...we are not attempting to step on any Texas Fun Jump
plans...just getting some info out for those needing to put in for vacation.
Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit.

I am planning on attending this year. I'll be coming with the Sin Wagon Camper and the family, and hopefully at least one fire arm (looking to get a .45). The wife hasn't shot in years and the kids (16 and 10), never. Looking to remedy that this year.

I plan to be there again. Hopefully, I can participate more (the neck surgery limited me last year).

I highly encourage anyone who can make it to come. It's fantastic. I have a flag in need of disposal; our ceremony last year was quite moving, especially due to Shadow's comments.

I wont be able to make it like I'd hoped. Long story but I'm going to be in Austin. I'm gonna try to talk my husband into going and bringing all our fire arms though. If you can't meet me, might as well meet my other half.

On a sad note it is with great regret I must advised all of you of the passing of the MarkIII. I will decide if I am riding down on my Motor or taking the truck. It is up in the air.
XXIV HD think you guys can make it? If so I will drive again this year. The truck is a F350 club cab. or I can take my wifes SoccerMom Assault Vehicle also known as a minivan.

Hmmmmm, I'm already scheduled to work that weekend, but I'll see if I can twist some arms. I had such a good time last year, that I can't imagine missing this one.

Depending on what kind o' shootin' matches are in the works, I may be able to lay hands on some IDPA-type targets if needed.

Trying to post the Barrett Video, but can't figure out how to do it. ( d'oh)

    Here's a link instead

Nope, no problem at all. Will I be able to try them out? (Assuming you're talking about weapons that I need to take down)? Just let me know hen you're coming up and we'll have some good eats and drinks ready. Hell, you can even bring the family and if need be spend the night.

Also, my brother-in-law just got himself an AR-15. There really is no place in this area that can handle a weapon like that unless you are a member. Do you know of any public ranges between us that can handle an AR-15?

Should be back from Iraq by then. If so I'll make plans to attend with the HH6.

I'll be there; similar arrangements to last year if it can be coordinated (RockOut? Dark? Alt?) I'm planning to show up on Thursday this time instead of Friday. The 2009 event was too short for me.
