Even though teammates should always motivate and galvanize each other to perform their best, there is something to be said for the personal satisfaction of outlasting the weak and 'hanging' with the strong pack (in a training environment of course). It's not about big or little, loud or quiet. It's about the WARRIOR mentality, and not everyone understands that, let alone has it. I don't think that just ANYONE can train up and do these things on a whim. Not everyone is meant to be able to do these kinds of things. Also, I think some people just enjoy the pressure and the pain...or they at least know how to translate it into pure fucking motivation.

Does anyone know when this will be on again? I searched for it and got nothin.

First you have to gain control of the stumbling block that is your mind. The body can do far more than most peoples minds will allow.

The same place you mothers find the drive to do everything possible for your children.

No shit. I watched my wife give birth to all 3 of my kids, I've never seen such a high tolerance for pain.

My old CO was just selected and is at the Q now, He is a physical stud beyond scary..but he would agree with the comments here, it is the mind that got him through, no matter how strong he thought he was they played mind games that would weed those out...

Truer words were never spoken. I've always said that, if men had to bear children, the human race would have died out long ago...

I passed a kidney stone in Mountain Phase.

    I thought of my mother.

I still have that psycho-bitchs' teeth marks on my arm from when I was trying to stop her from ketteling my old mans' head in.

Kidney stone wasn't shit compared to facing that war-like old bat without a Tab.

First one? If so, I'll send you a card to the club. I've had five or six and counting. No fun. No fun at all....

Never had one, my boss has had so many and some he has had removed through surgery...he explained the pain, but I don't think words give it justice...

I have had and still do have some. Holy Crap. Nothing in my life hurt that bad.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Our team SMG in Camp Powai, Lopburi, Thailand was trying to pass a stone and he was in agony. He was one tough nut (jumped on Corregidor in WWII), but he finally had to be air-evac'd to Bangkok to the hospital. Not for me, thanks!

I'm sure somebody has a technical explanation.

I just feel that quitting is never an acceptable option.
It would be impossible to live with.

Others have proven it can be done.

I have seen a good many quitters in civilian life.
    They make me uncomfortable.
They made me miss the company of real sodiers and men I left long ago.

I have been a sqaure peg in a round hole.

Ever been accused at laughing at the wrong things?
