Maybe your perception of Christianity yes. However since you would like to "Face the truth'. The Bible contradicts itself just like the Koran. Both tell you not to kill. Both say eye for an eye. It is ll in the perception of the one reading it. My whole point before was you can not profile an entire religion based on the acts of some in the religion.

Well this whole incident has reaffirmed a few things that my government tells me are true. Since they say it, it must be true!!!

1.) We just lost 12 soldiers in a single battle on a single day. One of the bloodiest days in the military in recent memory. It is clear what we must do...

Abandon Ft. Hood.

2.) Islam is a religion of peace.

3.) Returning war veterans are the bane of US existance. They will commit wanton acts of terrorism in the US and must be watched.



For those who defend the muslims I give you two things to think about...

1.) Where are the masses of rank and file muslims decrying terrorist acts such as this?

2.) While not all muslims are terrorists, so far all the terrorists happen to be muslims.

The Bible contradicts itself when pieces are taken out of context, not when it's reviewed as a whole. This is like suggesting that Star Wars can't keep it's story straight because Anakin Skywalker is a good guy...now he's a villain...now he's a good guy again.



Back on topic:

Although we can debate whether or not his religion should have been a red flag, there's no debating the fact that this guy should have been under a microscope for his behavior and conversations with others. He obviously wasn't hiding the extremity of his viewpoint and his status as an officer and a psychiatrist (psychologist?) should have brought a lot more attention his way.

As for the shooter... Let me do a little cut and paste here of a little old federal law for him.

United States Code at 18 U.S.C. § 2381 states "whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death

Let me chime in on something that was stated back a couple of pages. The FBI has authority to investigate any crime where there is a civilia homicide on a military base. They are called in also for any interstate crime that originates or ends on a military installation.
At Bragg if the MP Station was taken over and the SRT could not respond the FBI Field Office out of Raleigh was the response force. You would be surprised that even Civilain police forces have done investigatios instead of Military agencies. At Bragg when a MP shot and killed a perosn on a traffic stop it happened 20 feet off post. It was a joint investigation between CID and Cumberland county. Cumberland county took the lead.

I personally don't think the suspects religion has anything to do with this.
He was a fucking whack-job, pure and simple. There will be a lot of blame regarding how he slipped through the cracks.

And, as a side note, there are a lot Muslims serving honorably and proudly in our military. Let's give them some credit.
