If my views and opinions are out of line with current military doctrine than perhaps there needs to be a serious re-evaluation of that very doctrine that minimizes events of this sort from ever happening again.

From what I get from the reporting he isn't anti-war. He is pro muslem violence (just like his 'good book' says) as he stated that he was happy about the two army guys getting whacked in Arkansas at the recruiting station attack and that the muslems in the middle east have a right to rise up against the US. He thought the same about muslems rising up here against the gov't. And he was happy by that.
