    Default Introduction - ABN Bearcat

Hello, I'm Don and I am a high speed Paratrooper and stumbled upon this place through a Google search. I served from August 1995 - November 2005, starting with OSUT/basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. I was assigned to A-4-10 and graduated in October 1995. I went through AIT at Fort Gordan, GA and graduated in October 1996. My first duty station was at Fort Bragg, NC. I was initially assigned to 514th Signal Co. I went to Airborne School. I was on jump status. I was then assigned to D Co 1110th Signal Battalion. I attended Air Assault school at Fort Bragg. 10th Mountain Division sent a contingent of instructors to conduct the course. After my time on active duty I joined the Ohio Army National Guard and reclassified to Combat Engineer. In 2003 my National Guard unit was mobilized in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I spent a year in the desert. I am very proud of my service and I am glad to be a member of this forum.

Thanks Ops NCO. As a Signal guy it is important that I am able to communicate effectively.

Very nice intro, and, although you did not have the good sense to join the only proper branch of the US Army--that being the field artillery--welcome to the AO!
