    Forty years ago last week, Army paratrooper Bill Eberle left for the Vietnam War to lead Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols, eventually earning the coveted Combat Infantryman's Badge for his service in the 504 regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division.

    Jeeezus! Bill is a fucking PR Hawg!!!! He does get his name out there.......

    He named his chapter after one of my chapters members when I was the chapter secretary of the Low Country Chapter!!!! The God of 2/505th PIR Col. Ben Vandervoort!!! He should have asked us first.........

    I hope the best for Manny. He has a tough job and I understand why he operates how he does. The association is unlike any other veterans organization. Every member can work an issue at the national level, try doing that at the VFW or Legion.
