My class was only 21 guys. (insert RI joke here). A couple were shitheads. Most of the shitheads were fired inside the first year. Some straightened out. The academy is part two of a four part selection process. Be patient, the shitheads usually get clipped. Some will slip through however. There are 800k cops in the US...there's bound to be some bad ones.

You have to get picked, then the academy, then FTO, then your probationary period.

Long way to go.
