Sizzler Shirts: Update

I have assembled and ordered a test shirt so I can see how the colors will turn out. You can visit the test store if you would like a peek at the shirt styles and prices that will probably be offered. Keep a couple things in mind:

1. YOU ARE LOOKING AT A TEST DESIGN. That's why there aren't any wings on the front and there's a different design on the back. This is NOT what the Sizzler shirts will look like.

2. Some of the shirt colors may be dropped depending on how the design looks when printed on them. This is why I created and ordered a test shirt.

3. The prices are accurate. Shipping and handling adds $6 to the cost if you use the cheapest method available. Delivery doesn't seem to be as slow as they claim (at least it wasn't the last time I ordered a shirt).

4. I will still be notifying each person individually by PM when his/her design is ready for purchase.

So, I see you had Dark model the shirts! GAY!!!!

Okay, I have just received the shirt. It turns out the gray is pretty light, not as dark as a PT shirt but that's a good thing because the print process interprets white areas of a design as "no ink." This means that the white border of the 508th crest (for example) is going to be whatever color the shirt is.

Some of the crests have such tiny text that the mottos are a little difficult to distinguish. I'm going to try correcting this by enlarging the flashes a little bit but you guys need to allow that these are shirts made of cloth and ink, NOT intricately stamped and colored pieces of metal mass produced on custom tooled and tightly calibrated machinery.

The designs DO look good, don't get me wrong. I think you guys are going to be happy with the results! I'll make some minor corrections and start posting designs online. Look for a PM from me during the coming week to let you know that your shirt is ready.

My two shirts (1 white, 1 light) were waiting on me when I got home today. They look great! Chop 6 asked why I needed two of them. I told her to STFU, take off all her clothes, and put one on. Actually, I told her that the funds went to support the August Reunion and the shirts were specially designed for each individual. She just shook her head.
