If you can make it to the Teams, you will eventually make it to Ranger School. Those guys get all the choice schools.

Update: my medical waiver has not come back yet, we are still waiting on it. However, I stopped by the Army's recruiting office today for a quick check-in and to see how the recruitment standards are going. My recruiter was explaining to another recruiter what happened and why I was out, and why I'm now unable to get back in. While mentioning the letter to my congressmen, a young lady sitting in the room spike up and said "just write him an email! that's what I did and I was out of the Reserves and set for active duty in one month!". We spoke about it for awhile and I came to find if I write him an email with my DD214's scanned to it, I may be able to get my RE:code changed to something waiverable by the Army in less than 4 weeks. In which case all the medical processing is already done by the Navy, so I would just get a spiff from the Navy and go sign an Army contract once my waiver was accepted. So, there's still hope. I will write a letter tonight, and keep everyone updated. Driving on. Never quit.
Never quit.

Obviously, many of us on this site are partial to the Army, but the fact is, you won't go wrong in any SOF component. You make it in any of them, you'll join the ranks of warriors. Keep at it.

Update: spoke with my recruiters who spoke with MEPS today. I've actually been waiting to get a CONSULT scheduled, not waiting on a waiver. I do not mean just waiting to go get a consult done, O mean waiting to get it scheduled the past few weeks. So they're scheduling me to go get a consult with a civilian doctor in the MEPS city a few hours south of me that has some ties to the military or MEPS some how, should take 3 weeks. If that passes, THEN I will wait on a medical waiver. There's work to be done yet, never quit.
Never quit.
