"Where is the prince who can afford so to cover his country with troops for its defense, so that ten thousand men descending from the clouds might not,in many places, do an infinite deal of mischief before a force could be brought together to repel them?" -Benjamin Franklin, 1784

I just finished up researching the 29th Ranger Bn (Provisional) http://victoryinstitute.net/history/...Provisional%29 I did this since I have started helping out the Director of The Victory Institute, an in depth massive web site that covers everything from Military History to Counter Terrorism. He is the Regional Director for the Counter-Terrorism Advisory Team also which is connected to the Homeland Security. I was very skeptical at first...Check this site out and on the front page along the top click on "ABOUT" but that's just the surface. Just scroll down the first page and there is a window with a slide show effect displaying some books and below that it starts with Biography and ends with Psychology and each one of them words will take you to a different sector of the web. I'm helping put together every LRRP, LRP & RGR units Historical overview plus he is embedding 4 of my videos....they have a super informative Blog, a Radio show, Their also involved in the "GOLDEN GUNS" program which wants to arm all the Medevacs in Afghanistan. I said it sounds good but that would take up the space of two litters since they are designed to take 4 litters, you would then need twice as many choppers, however, when I was with the 1st Bde 101st I was on Medevac Security at the time and we had a line company being over run and the Medics were even getting sick So me and another guy from my Plt said why don't you put some fucking M-60's on the Huey's and somebody mentioned the Genevsa Sausage and we said Fuck that there ain't no news crew out there so I told this story before of how we rigged them up, however it can be very dangerous also since there is no limit to its motion if somebody gets excited or panics he could shoot into the blades, etc and wind up shooting his own chopper down....anyway.. Hell we loaded 52 KIA's into a reefer trailer in about 2 hours that day....come to find out an LT tried to walk it out and came up a little short which did not help at all...Duc Pho may 67??? here is the VI site http://victoryinstitute.net/ CHECK IT OUT!
