Default Thanks for the input I went with the 5.56 version

    Alright Brothers,

After the input on the Smith&Wesson 5.45 Rifle....Went to the Eastman Gun Show at the Atlanta Motor Speedway today...(Sponge saw our seats from the infield garage).....I purchased a hand built M-4 in 5.56 by a company out of Newnan, GA. called AR-Bunker

Ended up paying 989 total out the door.

    DTI Lower
    6 position Stock
    Detachable carry handle

Overall I am very happy with the purchase.....Went straight to my folks house and put a couple of magazines through it. Shoots very well out of the box took less than 9 rounds to have it right where I wanted it.

Yeah I went with the 5.56 after all the details on the 5.45 being scarce...

Who me? Not really. It's just that everybody seems to be buying all of these weapons and I can't! Guess I'll live... Was thinking of going to a gun shop but just been too busy.

Congrats on the new baby 5.45

Thanks Bro....I was really looking for input on that 5.45 and from what you all told me the 5.56 was the way to go...and for the record I would recommend AR-Bunker to anyone.

If you want a 5.45 then wait till the market settles (hopefully) and pick up a cheap AK 74 in that round.

This is what I could get away with today...looking at a set of Daniel Defense rails and forward grip.

I would like some input on optics/ACOG etc....anyone? I am fairly competent with the iron sights but....you know the deal.
