    Default Skysoldier's favorite rifle.

With tears in his eyes, Skysoldier finally admited that this has always been his dream rifle and to hell with what everybody on ArmyParatrooper.org thinks about him.

"I love the Smurfettes", he said to our intrepid reporter (who was also crying because he could not LOL)

I have to admit that's pretty pathetic.

Why didnt you bring that to the Sizzler, Brian? We had to settle with shooting an MP-5, and you could have brought this? Negative rep points out bound for you!

It's the new don't worry about don't ask don't tell very special forces rifle.
Light engineers must be proficient in marksmanship, demolitions, light infantry skills, and field-expedient engineering. Because of the austere conditions in which they operate, light engineers must have knowledge of all weapons in their unit, an intimate understanding of the weapons systems of the forces they support, and a working knowledge of the enemies' weapons. The close combat skills of light engineers must be unequaled. They must hold total confidence in their abilities to apply these skills and tools.

Fella's you need to remember that Skysoldier is a FOG. They didn't have all of that high faluting fancy spancy weaponry when he was in. I researched the DOD archives and found a pic of Skysoldier when he was attached TDY to the air defense section of the 2nd armored cav...

Notice that the color of the weapon is perfect because it matches his oufit...

I do not think Sky is a "pink" kind of guy. I see him as a typical wood and steel kind of shlub.
I found a pic of his rifle he qualified with in Basic.
It took him 60 minutes but he qualified 40/40 on the range.

Did I mention my Les Baer and Yost 1911s have been known to travel in a hot pink Blade-TEch holster.
