E Co, 20th Inf/C Co 75th Rangers worked for IFFV. I was with them 69-71. All our admin was thru the 173rd. No way we were any part of the funny Fourth. K company was with the Fourth. Most likely, Brasso will line this out completely. He is the expert on this.

I had a CSM who was a Charlie's Ranger, CT, 1-325 AIR. Use to run us into the ground on NCO runs in 95. Saw him a year ago at a retirement ceremony. I got to sit with him at a 82nd Convention and it was amazing the stories he told about the Army back then.

Had a 1st Sgt that was Viet. Ranger. This was in C.co.307 Engrs. back in 77 Name was VanDerroot or VanDerroos, I think. Ran our asses into the ground. Last I heard he was trying to get into Delta when the were forming.

I had CSM Taybron as well. I was with B 1/325 from 92-94. That guy could run. I always remember he would come out and say "Be ready for the Thriller" meaning he was going to run us forever. I had the misfortune of experiencing the thriller many times. What company were you in and from what years? Jock McCain was our 1SG and he was a stud himself.

Welcome to APO, brother Falcon. However, we do ask (per the site rules) that your first post be an introduction thread in the (where else?) "Introductions" part of the site. Please report there. Thanks.
