For those that are be into NFA toys, such as SBRs, etc. one of the requirements is that the lower receiver must be engraved by the maker of the weapon. Per the ATF rules, the 'maker' of the firearm is you, since you are the one turning the weapon into an SBR. Well, as you know from my other thread, I'm in the process of building an SBR. To satisfy the engraving part of the law I sent my lower receiver out on Monday afternoon to a place here in Texas that specializes in engraving for NFA items (the law has some specific requirements as to what, where, how, etc. needs to be engraved). Per my tracking information supplied by USPS, it made it there this afternoon at around 2pm and he is currently engraving it as I type this and will be shipping it back to me tomorrow. Now THAT is what I call fucking good service! I just wanted to give a shout out to Keith at NFA Investments and I highly recommend him (provided it isn't all fucked up when I get it back). Here is the website for anyone who may be interested.
