"Hi, I'm Jeff82 and I am a high speed/low drag Paratrooper and stumbled upon this place. I served from 1982 'til now, starting with Infantry OSUT (11B) in Jul '82, and then with Jump School in the 43rd Co that Fall. I was on jump status. I was with the 1st Bn (Abn), 325th Inf Rgt. Trying now to get retired from the USAR with almost 24 years service, 13 of them active duty."

    Welcome!
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Welcome and thanks..I learned something new today..

The Greek phrase Molōn labe! (Μολὼν λαβέ; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀ːn labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them!", is a classical expression of defiance reported by Plutarch in response to the Persian Army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons. It is roughly corresponding to the modern equivalent English phrase "over my dead body". It is an exemplary use of a laconic phrase
    -Persevere or GFY!- me
