Stop me from buying my first 1911

So many of you know I was trying to figure out whether or not to buy my first revolver or my first 1911. It was a tough decision but in the end I got the revolver. Now I sit here looking on the net at all these beautiful Springfield MC Operators that are begging for me to buy one. Somebody please convince me not to go pick one up tomorrow afternoon at lunch......

Okay, I'm an asshole. I didn't mean to imply that I was personally preparing something for sale. I meant that a little waiting usually yields a really good deal.

As for the revolver: A fine, fine choice on that Ruger. She may need a little internal polishing but you won't regret it.

Just know that 1911's are addictive! Oh sure it starts with one Springfield Operator, then its a little Kimber for concealed carry, then a nice S&W Commander size, pretty soon you're lookin' to score a custom Nighthawk or an Ed Brown........
