    Default Hot Sauces

Ok, I've got 2. One is a nice slow burn, with light heat. The other is go to walmart and buy a new asshole kinda sauce. Both are pretty simple to make.

Light Heat: Start with a quart of honey. Put it in a pot and get it simmering. Add 1-2 bottles of your favorite hot sauce, I.E. Tabasco...what every you like. Then add 2-3 cups of dark brown sugar. Bring to a boil, and let cook for around an hour. Make sure you stir it often. Letting it cook this long will reduce the mix, and bring out the flavor. This one is perfect for wings or nuggets with just a little heat.

Pretty Hot: Take 1 gallon of regular ketchup, and simmer. Add 1 - 1 1/2 cups cayenne pepper, 1 cup of crushed red pepper, 1 cup of jalapeño juice, and 1 - 1 1/2 cups of dark brown sugar. Leave this on a low boil of around 30 minutes. Again, stirring often. This one should start out nice and sweet, then get pretty hot. Don't cook to long, or you will lose the sweet flavor of the brown sugar. Try this one on a burger. Brush it on the burger then grill. Flip and repeat.

Let me know if you try one of these, and what you think.

    I am a 92G ya know!

I'll try them both once Ferret gives the all okay. And make sure you use some of those Mexican Salmonella jalapenos for that extra kick.

I've been wanting to find a new hot sauce. Everything I've tried lately has been either so hot there's no tastebuds left, or too wimpy to be worthwhile. Like when I tried Dave's Insanity Sauce for the first time. Everything just tasted like smoke cause my mouth was on fire.

    Got any good salsa recipes?

Bottle of Franks in the fridge and Louisiana on countertop next to the stove. It's cheap and goes good with EVERYTHING!

I bought some of that about two weeks ago but haven't opened it yet. Somebody told me it was tasty, glad to get a second and third on that.
