Default Death of my former partners daughter

This seems about as an appropriate place to put this.

I just found out that last week my former partner/supervisors daughter died after a lengthy bout of cancer. Aleah was 25 when she passed away, fought bravely over 7 years, never complained, drove on with herself and was an inspiration to all of us with how she carried herself.

Her Dad, Mike, was my partner. He was in 5th Grp and a Recondo Grad. He is in all terms, a warrior and one of the bravest men I know. He always looked out for his guys, had their backs, had a heart of gold and made sure my family was taken care of on my deployment. He retired after 25 years as an Officer in MN and went to AZ and started again as a rookie Officer, as he loved being a Cop.

Her mom Karen is an RN, a sweetheart and another person with a heart of gold. Aleah also has a sister, Brea, who used to watch my kids and is pregnant with her second child.

The family is devastated, Mike and Karens kids were their life. A prayer for them would be appreciated.
