Sometimes there is an exception, but it is on a case by case basis

Trust me I am trying but that's going on hold until I come back from my deployment!

    Cool Re: 194 LRSD Deactivation

Oh, my... I find my way back to this site to find that the other representative of the 194th is none other than the man best know for the Bulldog, the Squirrel On A Trampoline, the Cheeseburger, and the infamous Exploding Cock...

I wish I could have made it to the deactivation, I was unfortunately out of town for a family event. I've talked to Garvey since then, he said it was pretty depressing (of course), but good to see those who were able to make it. (It sounds like he's onto a pretty sweet deal. I'm very interested in what he gets into in the future.)

The rumors of deactivation had been around for ages- we all hoped that the deployment would save us, but the writing on the wall was obvious from the moment we got back from Iraq.

Hey brother, good to see you're still alive and that was some pretty hurtful shit you said..........

I just got back from two thrilling weeks of teaching 11B BNCOC. Mac and JoJo were there for ANCOC, it was a 194th retard reunion. The other instructors were shaking their heads and heard some funny shit that was once classified. We even had a couple of Nebraska LRS guys up to add to the retardness of it all. SSG Falcon, if you're reading this you're still a 6 jump wonder.......

The 194th should be glad to have me as the other rep on this site, after all you have no class nor the talent to compete with me in the penis puppet theatre arena.

I did see the GarvMeister while I was there, nice to see the FOG still has the opportunity to hang around some good troops and do what he wants to. I hope things work out for him.

The deactivation was kinda sparse because of the flooding and deployments, but it was fun anyways. Ski, Woolery and I took the final tour of the ISOFAC and I took a going away pic on a certain Det Sgts desk with his prized blaze orange "You will not usurp my pathfinder author-a-tay" boonie cap on. I even posted it for old times sake.

I'm too sexy for his chair..........

    Welcome back...

Was your unit a part of that big story the Army Times just did in seven parts?

Who could possibly compete, given the amount of practice you had?

Honestly- did you EVER have your pants on inside the wire?!!!!!

italyjumper- didn't see the article- do you know if it's online anywhere?

Buddah, what years were you at the 194th? I was in 88-94 (actually late '93). Were you with Cpt Orr? Was SSG York, SSG Steele, Sgt Buchanan, SSG Harris, Sgt Beckman, 1st Sgt Shroyer still there? or anyone with a coin number under 100? So many questions!

Tuna, do you recognize any of the names above? I can't believe I've finally found a couple of the 194th LRSD!
