    Sweet! New to site

    Greetings to all! I am flyrrbill and I fumbled my way into this site by following some internet referals. I was at Ft Bragg from 1989 to 1992 (which included an 8 month trip to the sandbox during Dessert Shield/Storm). I was with C/2/82 Aviation Bn. as a UH/EH-60 pilot. Enjoyed the time at Bragg and the area. I never did make it to jump school but had lots of friends that did. The flight pay was higher than jump pay so couldn't see the idea of jumping and getting hurt and loosing both.

    Light engineers must be proficient in marksmanship, demolitions, light infantry skills, and field-expedient engineering. Because of the austere conditions in which they operate, light engineers must have knowledge of all weapons in their unit, an intimate understanding of the weapons systems of the forces they support, and a working knowledge of the enemies' weapons. The close combat skills of light engineers must be unequaled. They must hold total confidence in their abilities to apply these skills and tools.

    Welcome aboard bill. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind providing a little more information. Like where/when Basic, AIT, not asking for any secrets, just a little more meat on the bones. We've been getting a lot of posers in here lately.
