Wow. What a fucking clown. I love the small family dealers who will get you whatever you need. As a recruiter, I've spent enough that could probably be measured in DAYS hanging out in gun shops run by old men who have a grand kid who might be thinking about the Army...

The crazy thing is, he's not. I've talked with him 4 or 5 times before this. He knows his shit. That's why I went to him.

Well I got my new XD. The OD green frame looks outstanding. The people at the store were very friendly. After my BG check was done and I was ready to go, I ended up shooting the shit with the staff for another 20 minutes.

While I was there I decided I couldn't live without the Remington 700P they had in stock. I'm going back next week to pick up an XD for my dad.

So, I guess 5280 Armory lost 3 sales to show me that I should be more respectful on the answering machine. That was big of them. Now I'm a better person.

If you were wondering... the shop I got my XD from is called The Firing Line in Aurora. Everyone I've met there is a pro. I've been buying shit there for almost 10 years. They know their shit and they are personable. I'm embarrassed that I strayed. The youngest (newest?) guy on their staff remembered me by name when I walked in and immediately started up a conversation.

If you live in the area, this is probably not news to you, but I wanted to give them credit for being everything 5280 Armory is not.
