    True to my word Wildcat.

    You got verified. Outfuckingstanding!

I think there are a few 'Nam era 173rd vets wandering around this place, and a few Recondo types from the same time frame -- all good guys. I am sure they will be anxious to hear what you have to say about your time in country.
Light engineers must be proficient in marksmanship, demolitions, light infantry skills, and field-expedient engineering. Because of the austere conditions in which they operate, light engineers must have knowledge of all weapons in their unit, an intimate understanding of the weapons systems of the forces they support, and a working knowledge of the enemies' weapons. The close combat skills of light engineers must be unequaled. They must hold total confidence in their abilities to apply these skills and tools.

I don't give two shits to hear what this fucker has to say.....

He's on thin fucking Ice. I only banned him for 7 days since he was not yet fully verified, now so everyone is clear. He is a Paratrooper, but that doesn't mean he gets to act like a dick.

Welcome to the DZ but by virtue of your behavior in your first couple of days I see your stay here as a short one.

So he's verified. He still hasn't addressed legitimate questions. I was in Panama but I didn't fight at Gamboa Prison and didn't take part in the Pacora River bridge firefight. If I started spouting off that shit and another OJC vet came along and said, "Hey, the combat jump was just getting underway during the Pacora Ambush. How did you take part in that op?"

Would I be able to get away with that bullshit just because I was verified?

I have with held any posting to this thread until all the shit cleared the fan. So I will now welcome you to the DDZ aka AP.org. However, you are still walking on eggs as far as many of us are concerned.

All right...I have had it with this post!

These are my last words regarding Wildcat.

    Wildcat.....you are full of shit!

You come on here talking shit and using hints about the A Shau Valley and Cambodia and Laos.

You say you were in from 67 to 69...a draftee, no less. And that you did jump school in 68. I am not dumb......I can do numbers, and your numbers say LIAR!

OK.....maybe you did finish jump school....maybe you did serve with the 173rd in Vietnam. Good....I will accept you here just on that alone.

But you keep posting contradictory shit that pegs my bullshit meter, and I am sick and tired of hearing it.

I asked you some honest fucking questions....and you have pretended you didn't hear them.....just like posers do in a bar.

But this isn't a bar fucknuts.....we demand honesty here, and nothing less!

You exhibit the characteristics of every poser I have ever met. You hint at shit, but can't back it up with facts or dates!

So...Welcome to the site Paratrooper......but until you can be honest, stay the fuck away from me......and don't send me anymore PM's!

Hell.....even these young guy's don't buy your bullshit!

Until you become honest about your service....well then, all I can think is you are just another fucking poser....and I hate fucking posers!

    Nuff Said!

I defer to a Viet Nam veteran on all things Viet Nam. And I defer to a Sky Soldier on all things 173rd. So if Skysoldier smells something fishy here, I'm grabbing the tartar sauce.

I'm withholding my welcome until wildman can come up with some satisfactory answers regarding the questions Skysoldier has raised.

We've banned a bona fide Special Forces trooper for fluffing up the number of HALO jumps he made; I have no problem DXing a newbie on the site for making false claims about Viet Nam service.

So...does that mean my 500 Halo Jumps into Cambodia will cause suspicion?

Cambodia? Why not? Everyone has 500 over Cambodia. I have a box of Khmer Rouge ears under my bed. Now if you had said Laos, I'd have to throw out the BS flag! lol

One time I humped ten miles down the Ho Chi Trail just to uncover a pack of Ruby Queens. We were using sharpened broom sticks as weapons at the time. Man, what a trip!
