    Default So much to learn...

My name is Zak, I am not enlisted or part of the Army in any way shape or form. I am deeply interested in becoming a part of our proud Nations Army. I am a high school student currently enrolled in Air Force J.R.O.T.C. I have no plans to join the Air Force, this is simply the only J.R.O.T.C program available to me. I am an athlete. I love to compete and I love to win, with these traits comes willpower and determination. Others may call me stubborn.
I am here because I would like any help a person could get on planning a future around the military. I trust I have come to the right place and hope I can absorb all the knowledge that I am sure to encounter.

zak, at your stage the best thing for you to do is concentrate on school and stay in shape. Next year (I assume you're a junior) you can start figuring out the specifics regarding the enlistment process. For now just research the areas that interest you in the military - there are plenty of folks who can guide you to what you want, including recruiters who won't bullshit you.

    I have one question...

    Are you a Legomaniac?

It's a frame of mind. A true warrior personality. Your Drill Sergeants will all be legomaniacs. They will be impressed with your knowledge and accept you as one of their own if you call them that...

I have a feeling that if I call any drill sergeant a legomaniac, I will be running until i vomit and then will be doing push ups in the pile of vomit...
