    Default Chris R.'s Intro

    Hello All,

    I'm Chris R., a retired MSG/E-8 with 21 years active duty time. I retired in 2004 while assigned to HHC, 507th CSG, COSCOM, at Ft. Bragg.

    I completed BAC on Ft. Bragg during July/August of '87, in a class run by 3/5 SFG. I went on to graduate from Jumpmaster in February '88 through 82d AAS.

    My jump status time was '87 to '89 with 82d Avn, 82d Abn Div, and from '96 to '00 with SOSCOM, USASOC. During my last two years in USASOC I worked on the JM Party for the monthly USASOC jumps on St. Mere DZ, so if any of you ever were on those jumps then you seen me working.

    As for number of jumps, I have 86 on my log from high-performance to a good mix of Army aircraft. I was also able to get my Australian jump wings during my USASOC tour.

    My full 21 years:
    '84-'85, 1st Sig Bde, Korea;
    '85-'89, 82d Abn Div, Ft. Bragg;
    '89-'92, USAREC, San Bernardino, CA;
    '92-'93, 7th ID, Ft. Ord, CA;
    '93-'96, 2ID, Korea;
    '96-'00, USASOC, Ft. Bragg;
    '00-'03, 1st Sig Bde, Korea;
    '03-'04, COSCOM, Ft. Bragg

    I'm currently working as an Area Manager for a telecommunications company.

    Thanks in advance to all, and hope to run into old friends here.

    Chris

    Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people, Back to the beginning! Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla! Where the brave may live forever!
