Well for what it's worth, the SF community does not acknowledge that she actually did earn anything, so she didn't. That she was given some trophy to shut her up doesn't make her a SFer, hell based on that I should be tabbed out, as a Rigger I hung out with all the cool kids (other than the "non existing" ones).

My last Bragg tour (92-96); the CW4 I worked for knew the story.
JFKSWCS allowed non SF folks to sit in on the classes, and that's how she got in as an Intel Officer.
She took classes one at a time, repeating some of them if she failed the class.
They tried to boot her (per him) because she lost her weapon during Robin Sage, her and a few others, ran off the reservation for pogy bait, and could remember where they stashed their junk.
They were eventually overruled and the School Commandant retired rather then sign the papers.
He would get quite animated when discussing her.
Wonder who RickMaj really is.
