Welcome danger I'm just curious about your age and your wifes.
What are you doing in the way of physical training to get ready for Ft. Benning. Whatever it is it's not enough.
A little word of advice. Listen to the recruiters on here with a receptive mind.
What do you want to Do? What are you able to do? Take a long hard look everybody wants to be on top do an honest self assessment before you pick.
From a retired NCO's perspective, if your married 11X with option 4 is the way to fly. You graduate BAC(jump school) on status you will either go to Ft. Bragg 82nd (AIRBORNE), 4 BCT 25th I.D. (AIRBORNE), 173RD BCT (AIRBORNE) or to the 509th PIR Ft. Polk as OPFOR. If your in shape now and you can run forever and can do 100 push-ups without stopping or 100 sit-ups in a single shot. Then there is an option for you called 11X option 40. This will take you to BAC and then RIP pass those along with OSUT for 11X you will be assigned to the 75th Infantry Regiment (RANGER).
Forget 18X you gotta crawl before you can walk.
As I was telling danger on AIM, all my buddies from basic/abn that had been promised 82nd got orders the day we got our wings to 4th ID.
True needs of an Army at war.
Welcome kiddo.
Remember the Army has it's own distinct culture with many layers. Some layers are psychotic and some are surreal.
Pay attention. Be smart and learn everything you can before shipping out to basic. Furthermore, work you ass off physically and always remember the old addage... They can't make you smart but they can make you strong.

No, FO2325 meant they don't offer Station of Choice and they will tell you to pick an MOS, go Option 4 or whatever is available, or to hit the fucking bricks because it isn't going to happen...
You can play hardball at the MEPS all you want. If something isn't loaded in the REQUEST system, and the Recruiting Operations Center out of Fort Knox can't load it, you're shit out of luck.
Understood, thank you for the information.
Danger, give us a SITREP.
And to think that's the excuse you used as to why you were useless... LMAO

Have you gone to MEPS?
Are you working out?

(I blacked out last night and made a complete ass of myself in chat. Sorry again.)
A juvenile court record came up on the second background check, so it took a sec to locate those documents. Hoping I'll be squared away to finally schedule MEPS within the next few days.
Psycho:
For my timed PT- trying to get past 50 pushups, as I can get 50 in quicker than 2 minutes, but my arms start to steam.
Situps: 50
2 miles: haven't timed yet.
