I love not having to iron ACU'S!!!! FUCK YA!!!

Except they wear out after 4 or 5 months of hard use...fucking bullshit.

And the new oakley boots are the shiznit, especially when they are 50% off.

The worse boots I ever had to wear was the Mickey Mouse Boots in Korea. I presume they did away with them a long time ago.

Ya in my last month in I almost smoked the dogshit out of a PV2 for wearing those damn sneaker boots. I told him one day they were un authorized and not to wear them again. He showed up with them the next day. I told his NCO, who was a piece of work himself, either he make sure his soldier not come back with them on or I was gona smoke the piss out of his soldier. He never showed up with them on again. They look like shit anyways. The pvt and his NCO are both legs so no surprise there....

I remember the days when we were only allowed to wear the issue black combat boots or the "Chippewa" winter boot (1 Oct-1 Apr I think..) Although, the best move ever made was bringing back the OD Jungle boot. The worst was posting a wear-out date for same. I did run across a pair of the issue desert boots that very closely resembled the quality of the original green jungles but not in my size (shit!!)..
I'm all for Joe being able to mix & match certain things like boots except he's got to understand that when resupplied, he may have to break in a "less than comfortable" pair if his Converse assault boots have worn out..

Well Stud, kudos on looking for Authorized boots but you failed Miserably at following an SOP. How about you back up try that again...Post a proper intro.

I suggest you get that squared away ASAP. We like to know who we're dealing with.

However, those gay-ass tanker boots need to move the fuck out. One more fucking excuse for tankers not to dismount.

"Sgt, I can't man the LP/OP, my boots hurt my feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet"

Fucking at least legs walk, but those video game players in their tanks won't even dismount to take a shit.

Hell, I had a section of Sherridans attached to my platoon out at OP-13 for alive fire and this fucking tanker asks me to TAKE OFF MY FUCKING BOOTS before I got in his tank to talk to his section leader.

After I climbed in his TC hatch with 5 inch clods of dirt dropping everywhere, I had those fuckers reporting in to me every 30 minutes at the assault position about 200 meters away.

Gawdamned tankers. I expected better from an Airborne Tank Battalion.

    Stupid fucking boots too.

I hated those fucking tanker boots. I told my crew that if I saw fucking tanker boots in my Tank I would smoke them until the boot fell off. They of course ran to our Plt Ldr and complained. He laughed and told them "I would do as the sergeant instructed as is miserable as it is being in a M1." I hated the looks of them and they looked like some piece of shit that a skin head would wear with his red and white laces.
I would never let my guys pull security from the vehicle. I made them go out on foot. They always whined that the tank was all muddy. I always felt that we had the wash rack to clean them.
The only motovated guys I had were all reclass 19D's Who were happy to get out of the always cold or always hot M1 IMP and M1a2
yea those were dark times for me and the reason I left the Reserves.

Damn bro, I didn't know. Did you get out on your own, or was it a 12-Step program?
