If it is Clinton vs. McCain, I'll vote for Clinton. I served under Carter, so I am very aware of how bad it can be in the military under a poor CinC. On the other hand, because of Carter, we got eight years of Ronnie.

Ron Paul isn't the Libertarian Candidate, and I'm not sure he will be. But despite how much I despise his foreign policy positions, yes, I'd vote for Ron Paul over either McCain or Obama.

MoveOn.org has coem out endorsing Obama.

Hell will freeze over before I will vote for Obama.

Another Clinton... I wouldn't vote for her even if you put a gun to my head.

I know it was mentioned Carter led to Reagan... I am not willing to take that chance. Especially not with the current global situation and definately not with the possibility of the next President nominating 3 Supreme Court justices.

I am not going to write in a Candidate other than the nominee or vote Libertarian. All that does is make it easier for Obama or Cliton to attain the Presidency.

So for good or ill I will vote for McCain, hold my breath and hope for the best.

No, he isn't. He's a better liar than Clinton, but just as much a politician. His voting record in regards to supporting the military is worse than Clinton's.

And if there is a candidate that is likely to lead to us losing allies, our own freedoms, and anything else you think of as American, it is John McCain.

He is a hothead who does STUPID stuff because his buttons get pushed. He has no sense of diplomacy at all. He doesn't respect the Constitution or the rights described in it (if he did, McCain-Feingold wouldn't exist). And he has NO HONOR and NO LOYALTY.

He's the worst option of the three. At least with Clinton we can expect her to succumb to the practical and what will maintain popularity in the polls. Her image is important to her. With Obama, it is likely that reality will swamp his ideals and very little of what he talks about will get done (most likely, none of it).

McCain knows how to manipulate the system, doesn't give a damn about being practical or popular, is quite willing to sacrifice our rights, and doesn't give a damn about anyone but John McCain.

He's the most dangerous candidate. To us.

Pretty damn close. I won't vote D, nor will I EVER vote Ron Paul. I may just have to write in my dog.

"McCain would not cosponsor the 1984 Agent Orange Bill, the 1992 Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, the 1996 Missing Persons Personnel Act, the 1998 Persian Gulf Health Care Act or the 1999 Bring Them Home Alive Bill. He did cosponsor the 1991 Omnibus Agent Orange Bill, but at that point there was no struggle, it was a done deal. Back in the 1980s when we really needed him he wasn't there."

Well, at least I know I'll be voting for Hillary in the primary if McCain is the Republican shoe in. I always vote for the weakest opposition delegate. That friggin' Obama must not win.

Let's get a few things straight.

As far as Supreme Court Justices, McCain will nominate David Souter liberals in the interest of "compromise". There will be no Scalia's, Thomas', Alito's, or Robert's from him. As I've said before, he'll give the store away.

No matter who wins the Presidency, the troops are staying right where they are. The Democrats demanded a vote in Congress to reauthorize force in Iraq before the war not to put a roadblock in front of the President, but to get their names attached to a royal ass whooping of the Iraqi's. Times got tough in Iraq, they saw a political opportunity, played up the "Bush lied to us" to distance themselves from their own votes, and became defeatists. They became defeatists because of the scorn and shame it would bring to the GOP. It will be exponentially harder for them to pin it on the GOP if there is a Democrat CiC. Neither Obama or Clinton will commit to stating that they will remove the troops when asked a direct question as candidates. They'll demand it, but won't do it. Just look at the political stunt of Murtha and the GOP response of putting a withdrawal bill to a vote that mirrored Murtha's statements and the Democrat party line. It got four "yay" votes.

    We aren't going anywhere.
