However, it doesn't take much research in the records of the Senate, House and various State legislative bodies to demonstrate that the position that the Kennedy brothers take isn't well reasoned or correct.

Who says you have to vote for Obama or Clinton? Go third party if you must, or write something in.

All of you who sit there and say that McCain isn't a real conservative, which is what you want from the GOP, yet pledge your allegiance to him anyhow because "he's all we've got" are the reason that we get candidates like McCain in the first place.

If you're going to just take anyone that the party tries to ram down your throat, then why bother voting in the first place? The only way things will change is if we force it to change. That is done in the voting booth.

Make them bleed for betraying the core principles of what the party is supposed to be about, and you'll get their attention real fast.

McCain will win the R, no doubt...
Huckabee and Romney are cancelling each other out.
If one drops the other could win....in that case.....I would vote for them...
However.org.net....I think it is too late, they fucked themselves, it is McCain all the way.

If you chose Hillary, Obama, or Mickey Mouse over a Republican you got issues.

He just runs with the title pretending to be one. Quite frankly Im Republican all the way, but as far as the candidates they havent been the cream of the crop unfortunately. I suppose it all depends on how each of us see things. Either way Im not impressed with any of them. The bigger problem is gona be figuring out who/what to vote for.... Its the chicken and the egg dilemma all over again......

After serving under Clinton the first time... I would rather not go through that experience again.

    Obama, hell no.

Third Party candidate? No that will onyl increase the possibility of HilBilly and BOBL getting into the White House.

So for good or ill I am left with McCain. I know he isn't an angel. I know he has some baggage but damn he is the only one who is not a French surrender monkey.

Uh... maybe you didn't notice, but he did surrender. He also made approximately 30 tapes for the enemy. He "broke" in no time at all.

I don't know about that. I do know that I have never been tortured and never want it to happen.

I do know he stayed when he had the oppurtunity to leave.

I did meet Admiral Stockdale a few times and was completely impressed with the man and what he related to me (not saying he confided in me) was horrible.

I do know that with Obama and Hillary we would be screwed.

I know that as a registered republican if I write in Hunter that I am essentially throwing my vote away and making it that much easier for Obama or Hillary to get in the White House.

I concede it is not the best option but it is the best option of those that remain.

Doesnt he now spout about the WTC being an inside job? Maybe he can join that shitbag Charlie Sheen and his fucking pussy ultra liberal dad doing commentary for that movie that was supposed to have been made.

A lot of people on this site apparently don't like McCain, but failing to vote or writing in Willie Nelson is not going to help anyone but Obama or Rodham-Clinton's chances to "lead" our country, and military, for four years. Neither one of them will do anything but weaken this country, and most likely endanger our fellow paratroopers in their quest to run and hide like a bunch of Frenchmen.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is one of the things we fought or are fighting for.

With all due respect to the green beenie, that was a pretty low comment regarding McCain's conduct when he was a POW. I'm sure you spent some time with a sandbag over your head in less that hospitable conditions and found it unenjoyable. That was training, you knew it would end and they wouldn't kill you. I have been in the same situation in training and it sucked. Talking trash about a fellow military man who did not leave his fellow captives, when he had the opportunity, while at the same time one of the most famous democrats in our country was VOLUNTARILY making propaganda movies for the bad guys is unacceptable. If you haven't been there, and others have vouched for his conduct and credibility under those conditions, at least give him the respect that he deserves.

    pgpd,

Within less than 24 hours of McCain's capture, there was film that included a photograph of him in a hospital, his broken limb treated, and with the information to label it as a photo of John McCain, son of Admiral McCain... all on the way to a European news bureau.

How do you think all that happened?

Think about it. Those are facts. Facts that are contradictory to McCain's own accounts. Facts that he refuses to make any comments about.

In addition, in those 30 tapes that he made? Not once does a cohersion sign appear. You remember those don't you?

Oh, and I've talked to other POWs about what they think about John McCain. If you like, I'll post some of their comments here. It isn't flattering.
