How to prove if somebody was a warrant?
Have this guy at work who says he was a warrant officer. I do not believe it as not much of his story adds up. He went from the Navy through the blue to gold program and said he was an E4. Does anyone have access to warrant officer grads or anything? Thanks.

Yeah, ask him where he went to school and when and I'm sure someone in here will burst his balloon. Does the dude seem squared away? Most Warrants have a bit of time in when they become Warrants and don't just get out after your standard couple of years. Once you've gone through Warrant Officer Basic and your Branch training you have a six year commitment to the Army. Is this guy at least in his early 30's? If he was prior Navy enlisted and went to the Army he'd still need to be at least in his late twenties. Fly the BS flag on him man

Doesn't the Navy have WO's?
I don't recall college being necessary as a WO is the subject matter expert in that field.
To become a WO there is a course you have to go thru ask him and tell us his answer.
I personally think he is FOS.

You never know, somebody here may have access or first hand knowledge the others didn't. I would really like to prove without a doubt the warrant officer thing. Guy came to work wearing an issue gortex with WO1 rank on it the other day.Originally Posted by CAL

I thought posers bothered everyone. I have to work in close quarters with this guy and listening to him spew BS gets old. Want to prove something.

Reading the stuff from across the street sounds like he's quite the bs artist.
Always best to be able to prove it though. See if you can sweet talk HR out of his hire packet...may have a DD214 in it. Even better, if it doesn't have a DD214, but his resume has some bullshit in it...

Well after reading across the street and here...the guy you are talking about is a complete loser. And I think I speak for all yes poser bother us all...I mean my only claim to fame in the army was being Airborne...and that is enough..to have others come around and then try to be everything under the sun..bothers me greatly...but if you can't legally kill him...bust his balls in front of others when he starts the crap then leave it alone...

This is too easy
1. Ask where he went to school to become a WO1.
2. Ask to see an ID card.
3. Ask for his specialty identifier. WO version of an MOS
4. Get a picture of him wearing the gore-tex with rank.
5. Educate him about stolen valor and tell him if you find out he is lying you will turn him in to the authorities.

The other thread on the other site has that info. They have an active duty guy in the MOS he says he was in and that guy said patriot missle warrants do their training at Bliss. This guy said he did it all at Rucker.
He has an ID card but it's for E4. Said they took the one that had the warrant rank.

He has an ID with SSN and all the information needed for an NARA records request. If you want an undeniable answer that's the way.
