    Default Strange PT

I just started reading Inside Delta Force by SGM Haney. He describes the PT test he took at selection. This reminded me of the strange events we had on pt tests my first year in. Run dodge and jump, Inverted crawl, and Monkey bars.

Anyone remember other exercises that were outside the norm?

Wouldn't really call it strange, but I had a 1SG who had us play rugby....alot.
I enjoyed it and it was one hell of a workout.

I remember doing the Run, Dodge, and Jump. Also doing the inverted (crab) crawl.

Before everyone started pussing up we used to play a game called Chaos Ball

Football, Soccer Ball and a Frisbee on the the same field at the same time so you had 3 games running into and around one another...good times. You could only take 10 steps with the football and then you had to kick it forward....5 steps with the Frisbee and you could only kick the soccer ball...it basically turned into smear the queer ......Good times

I remember playing alot of Combat Soccer in Korea. Two goals, a soccer ball, and a platoon full of joes in flak vests. No face punches, no nut shots were the only rules.

You could pick the ball up, but you could only hold it for 3 seconds or 3 steps.

There was usually blood. Good workout though with the added weight of the vest.
