Never served with CSM Parks. I do know he was from 1st BCT before coming to 3rd BCT and 1P. He is currently the 3rd BCT CSM but is retiring and a new BCT CSM is in place. CSM Watts was the best CSM in the BDE and if he was alive I would have went to the Panthers without hestitation. He and CSM Flowers are the best of the best.

Glad you responded to this old post .. I've never seen it. I knew CSM Watts when he was a Platoon Sergeant in C Co 1/325 during Desert Storm. Always made me laugh the way he made up words

CSM Donovan Watts and I were Spc's together in C 3/325, many moons ago. He was a great soldier and freind. Taught him to drink "Boiler Makers" at the old Red Beret Club. The Bde in which he served lost an great leader, as did the Divison and the Army. Me I lost a good friend.
